My Little Sister
Her name is Johanna and I love her!
But I don't love that we live so far away and get to see each other every 2 years.I hate that big time.
I was craving some Johanna time and decided to fly down to Crete in Greece and visit her.
It was cheaper to buy 2 tickets with a hotel room than a single one so I brought a friend. In this case Angelica. After asking tons of friends to join for free to Greece I finally found her. Angelica is my boyfriends childhood friend. Everyone had final exams that week and could not skip them to come with me to Greece but I was so happy Angelica could join me!
Angelica and I stayed at a hotel called Atrion. It was perfect. Not to big just perfect! They had a nice pool a pool bar and the rooms were clean and neat. Perfect! All that we needed. Cause I hate spending all my time and to much money at a Hotel. I love exploring the city and hang out by the beach!
We took the days as they came, and I love that. I love to forget about time and just live and enjoy the moment!
I was so happy to finally meet my sisters fiancee Costas and there dog Irma! I haven't visit her in Greece so it was nice to see how she lives and her life style.
Although I need to mention it here. Johanna Im not happy with your smoking!
Angelica and I made some trips into Chania and Johanna joined us the last day aswell.
All the small street in Old town are so amazingly beautiful.
My camera was hot taking photos of everything.
I love that the houses have different colors and they don't look the same. All the houses have a history and it's magical to walk around there.
They have many good restaurant around old town and by the harbor. And it was so cheep. a full bottle of wine was under €10. And we order tons of food for so little money.
O my how we ate.
The best food was served at a taverna in Agia Marina Called Skala. The staff was so friendly and the ambience and food was amazing. We enjoyed 3 dinners there and had a great time.
We went on one day trip to Gramvousa and it was beyond amazing. The water was soo blue and beautiful. We went on a 25 min bus ride to Kisamos from Agia Marina and then took a boat to Granvoussa and Ballos beach! It was beautiful. I can't say it with words so I will let the pictures talk.

Dear Stockholm,
Im so Sorry to leave you just like that!
We had fun but all fun always comes to an end.
But in our case, I know this will not be forever.
Im coming back. To make you feel a little better (and make me feel much better) I have a ticket booked and everything!
Please don't be to cold during fall and winter, I don't want my Stockholm resident friends to talk shit about you behind your back! Be cold but be sunny!

I miss Stockholm.
But I will be back in the summer to get my fix! Stockholm in the Summer... go together like peanut butter and jelly. So my plan is to stay in California during fall and winter, travel during spring and hang in Sweden during the summer! Sweeet!
Best thing about the summer in Stockholm was the Sofie and I got to spend it together in Stockholm, now she is back in Jönköping and Im back in Santa Monica.

I need to make a little list of my favorite things about spending the summer in Stockholm
- Sofie and I got to catch up, and live close to each other again
- Work at the Coffee shop in Gamla Stan ( on the same block as Sofies job)
- Spend time with family
- Sun kind of never goes down
- New friends & old friends
- The subway
- Drinking boxwine in the park legally
- Enjoy this old and beautiful city
when we let go, we are free
I used to be really free. As free as a bird. I used to do what I wanted to do. I was not afraid. I had hope and my heart was exited about falling head first head long without a thought.
I was like a wild horse.
Running free. No fence.
I was just free.
No rules. I just lived, laughed and loved. From the bottom of my heart.
I was me and free. and I felt free.
I lived for that. The crazy. The do what you want. As crazy it might be.
It made me happy.
all I want is the wind in my hair to face the fair and not feel scared.

If only that someone was me.

everyone have something unique. Find that in yourself. You are the only one that can find it. Don't let anyone else tell you what to do and tell you who you are supposed to be.
ONLY YOU KNOW.
It's important to stop and think sometimes. RETHINK.
Is this what you want? Is this YOUR dream? Are you HAPPY?What I know of. We have one life. Our life. And you don't want to look back and say. aah I did not make my dreams come true. This life was not what I wanted. You wanna look back and say.
Heck Yeah. That was me. Look what I learned? Look how hard I worked And it does not matter if you succeed, the important thing is that you tried. you let yourself go.

But there is one tea and coffee company that a really love. Im planing to take a barista class there now before summer. And the company is Swedish and called Johan & Nyström. They have a concept store in Stockholm at Mariatorget and I really recommend a visit!
Me and my boyfriend had some iced Pour te from Johan & Nyström the other day! It was sooo good!!! And they just got out with 2 new flavors just in time for Summer!
Pour tea have there own webiste
They have a good quality a big coffee and tea passion and they are fairtrade and fair to our planet.
The fun thing about pour te is that each bottle have an unique messege inside. And its not pour te s messege. You can text a messege to pour te and they make shure it comes as a messege in one of there bottles! How fun isn't that??

The day one of my best friends was born! What would I do without her???
Im so sad I can't celebrate it by her side but Im doing my best from over here in Sweden!
I remember cutting a rose for Mary from my yard right before I left for Sweden. So Mary, imagine it was your birthday flower from me. I prob. knew somehow deep inside that I would be oceans apart on your birthday and gave it to you a little early!
Last year on Marys birthday I filled her whole living room with ballooooons and surprised her when she got home!

Happy Easter.
The weather have been fab and sooo beautiful!
If was fun catching up with some family and friends! Im back in one of my hometowns called Ludvika. Located by a beautiful lake in the heart of Sweden. My parants, brother, granma and some friends still live here. And tons of them comes home for the holidays like easter so It was great to be home for the weekend.
And I got to hang out with Henrik and his girlfriend and family.

It made me creative and Im ready to go back to work!!

running running prepping for a 10K
Im on the run!!
YES!
Finally! I have been working out so much in LA but spending the winter in Sweden didn´t really motivate me to go out when Its freeezing cold.
But now, when spring is here im telling you Im running!!! I have been running around Djurgarden in Stockholm! And I love it. Its an island connected by a bridge to Stockholm city and its like 5 min away from my apartment so I love it.
Today I was more happy cause you can really see all the spring signs. The flowers are in bloom and the leaves are ready to pop out!
Im exited.
When I got back home from my run me and my boyfriend went to Faltoversten ( a shopping mall) for some sushi! The sushi there is soooo good. Have been there 3 times in 7 days. Yuuum the salmon was soft like butter.
One more thing that makes me love spring more is that I can where my Toms again. Had to get a new pair cause I left the old ones in LA.
So I picked a red pair! Love them!!
Now its time for some wine and goodbyes,... My two Canaidian songwriting friends are going back to Canada. It's gonna be so sad, aaaay?
Im planning to run a 10K in the end of the summer. I have never done a running competition so Its gonna be fun! Just for fun!! I wanna run it under 1 hour!!

indiska. one of my dream stores.
But there is one store that has a big place in my heart and its the Swedish store called Indiska. Bohemic Modern.
and thats who I am.
Im sitting here on my balcony in Stockholm, spring is here. Bob Marley is singing out from my speakers. One Love. One Heart.
Im feeling all right. Drinking my tea!
So back to Indiska.
They sell a mixture of home decor and clothing kind of like Anthropoligie but with a touch of india.
I have been collecting Indiskas large tea mugs, they all look different but match so well together! I go in to a Indiska store everyday. Just to see if they have a new tea cup that I can add to my collection or something funky and fun for sale! Who does not like the sale racks????
Indiska was founded in the begining of the 1900 century by a woman called Mathilda. You can ready about it here.
Indiska have two restaurant aswell. One of them is located at Hötorget in Stockholm. I have been there twice. Once with my mom where I had amazing Indian food and once a fue days ago with my two Canaidian Songwriting Friends! Great spot.
There should be an Insdiska in the US. I think it would be a huge success! Don't you?
Indiska do have a blog! They post tons of news, insperation boards and let you know about all the cool sales! Go ahead and follow it!
I love the whole concept behind Indiska!! I love to drink tea from a cute cup. Put on some modern bohemic comfy clothes and lay on a bed with tons of colourful pillows!
So exited. I was reading the amazing swedish blogger Helenas blog ROOM and serve and I found out that Jade Jagger is doing a collection for indiska again ( she did one last year). I love her!! Im going to line up outside the store when It comes out in may!!
